Ambrose 1000

Recommended Posts

Okay...maybe it's just me. But a player of Ambrose's offensive ability should be WAY over 1,000 now. I mean, Wilson and Iati were nice players but they didn't have the offensive ability that Ambrose has.

Ambrose will do it in his 3rd season. Wilson and Iati went over the 1000 mark in their senior seasons. actually for Iati it was his 5th season. He played 6 games I believe in the 04-05 season , was sidelined for the season with an injury and granted a medical redshirt. reaching 1000 in his 3rd season, Ambrose will climb higher on the all-time list before he is done.

Guys let's get real don't even mention Timmy in the same breath as Jamar.

Timmy's best season doesn't even compare with Jamar's worst full season.

Jamar Wilson's stats

02-03 509 pts - 18.9ppg

03-04 only played 1 game medical redshirt 13 pts

04-05 455 pts - 16.9ppg

05-06 567 pts - 17.7ppg

06-07 620 pts - 18.8ppg

Total 2,164

Timmy Ambrose's stats

07-08 210pts - 7.2ppg

08-09 443pts - 14.3ppg

09-10 325pts - 14.1ppg (still playing)

Total 978 and still counting

Timmy would have to score over 1,000pts in his next 8-9 games to come close to Jamar, If Timmy can average 100ppg he has a shot at Jamar.

And not to pile on, but he has 8 or 9 this year and what 30+ next year. Let's say 40 games. So it would be just over 54 points a game not 100.

Realistically he could be 1400-1500 point scorer when he's done.

I also was referring to Brent Wilson. lol.

I don't think anyone on this team is on the level of Jamar. I miss him!

Congrats Tim! He got it tonight. Must have been on that last three at the end.

A W would have been nicer...congrats to him I guess....

Too bad the circumstances are what they are......A milestone nonetheless. I am sure this merits recognition on Saturday.
