BTW noticed that the hat Croskey wore is an Under Armour with no "U", just "ALBANY". Could they be rebranding, or is this an unauthorized hat? Nothing like it in the Albany store yet.

When you are 1-11 with NEC talent and probably would not have won the NEC (see loses to CCSU & Duquesne) then an immediate upgrade is mandatory if you are going to compete in the CAA.

 

If we have kids in the wings that redshirted in 2013 that have CAA ability then great. Kids that had CAA ability played(Senn, Ngachie etc). If Gattusso is bringing in Frosh with CAA talent they probably are an upgrade and should be given the chance to play immediatly. If this was year 2 or 3 you and now have players in house you can red shirt.

 

You cant tell me the kid who started 2 years at Maryland(unless he has to sit for NCAA rules) is not going to start day 1

 

I agree with you about Campion and Senn but last years OL was small compared to CAA defenses and struggled.

Maybe coach is using some Under Armour connections he had while he was in Maryland?

No doubt the kid from Maryland is a starter day 1. His brother will likely push, but don't be at all surprised if he doesn't start. We are no doubt updating the recruiting talent, but a jr/sr "nec" lineman is still in most cases better then a true freshman Caa kid.

We were on Russell for a bit. Quite the player. Had offers from B.C., UCONN, Toledo, RMU and Youngstown State.
