Has anyone heard anything about the CAA going to a two-division structure with perhaps a north and south division with a championship game in late November? Thoughts?

CAA North would probably be:

1. Maine

2. UNH

3. UALBANY

4. Stony Brook

5. Villanova

6. Rhode Island

CAA SOUTH:

7. Delaware

8. Richmond

9. Towson

10. William & Mary

11. Elon

12. James Madison

Cannot be done. NCAA rules against having a championship game champion be in the playoffs (at the FCS level).

Unless, like the SWAC, you have a championship game but those two teams can't go to the playoffs. Not happening.

Scheduling as it is now is pretty much the way it would be with divisions anyway
