He's looking for a sub coach against Kentucky. They've got a couple guys (jamal murray of Canada and Humphries of Australia, probable 1st-round draft choices) who decided not to wait until next year and reclassified. Their team managers are honorable mention All-Americans. No other mid-major would play Ky. so Will said we'd play them if 1) we could open at Rupp and 2) we could pick our other major opponent.

 

Not to reveal anything specific, but we'll be back to the Mohegan Sun "in the very near future"

 

Cremo is the most competitive player we've ever had.

 

Fran and Marge McCaffrey will be back for Coaches vs. Cancer this year. Their son's test was clear of cancer this month.

 

He thought with the exempt tourney we could afford to play Oneonta this year, it's possible but not very likely we'll play anther D-III in the future.

Hard to believe that not one single mid major program was willing to take a money game in Kentucky on opening night.

Did you listen to the FOX-980 podcast? Basically he was joking that he might be looking for a substitute coach for the second half against Kentucky

if things were real ugly by half-time. Trying to get one of the two guys on the radio to volunteer.
