I think at this time the money could be used for a lot more then expanding the stadium.

 

The current stadium seems plenty big enough for our needs right now.

So much AGREE to this...the SEFCU arena needs HELP. The current stadium is PLENTY big. Don't spend another dime on it until the other flagship sports get an acceptable facility.

Outstanding. Whatever the AD does with the money we can't be foolish with this money.

 

IMHO the least sexiest thing is the best move, which is investing this money in making the football team Endowed. That way the football team will never be cut.

Also agree that football upgrades are done. Focus on SEFCU which houses are Men's AND Women's BBall teams and VBall too, right? Fixing that place will take care of 3 sports in one shot.

First 8 figures means $10M. I'd love it but it sounds high. Do we mean 7 figures?

 

Second, if I paid $10M I'd want some of that money going back into my investment... Meaning the stadium. My name is on it so I want it looking good. It also increases the odds the stadium is used for more events. And bigger events. Maybe it just me but I'd want my name on the best stadium possible so some amount would go into it.

In regards to the BoFo, I think a Field House at the south end-zone would be a worthy addition. It would be useful and make the overall stadium more impressive looking. SEFCU Arena needs a full reno though.

SEFCU needs improvements and we need an indoor track and practice facility so SEFCU can be improved to a permanent bball arena

This has been an impressive few months. Honestly UA has accomplished all the items on my short/mid term list.

 

1) law school affiliation

2 new engineering school

3) Finalize stadium naming rights

4) Schedule annual FBS money games

 

Amazing progress. That is every must have short term item for me. Yes a SEFCU rehab or a field house is needed but those items take time. At this pace lets see what next week brings :-)
