Week 2: Rhode Island

-Defense was spectacular to watch.

-URI program is idiotic for baking its players.

-Free parking and free tickets are good things.

-I would like to see another passing TD before the season ends.

-Rhode Island is still a nice place to visit.

My friend and I were decked out in purple and gold, and we were called over to the will-call as we entered the building. I informed the gent I wasn't on his list, but he comped me two tickets anyhow...damn it feels good to be a gangster.

11) The ref's microphone doesn't work but the UA defense seems to be getting called with excessive celebration calls (which could also be called young college kids enjoying themselves.)

 

 

I thought the same thing but when I watched the replay on twitter of the pick 6 and someone on UA blasted the URI QB FAR away from the play while the UA player was crossing into the end zone. Dumb play.

Been trying to find some decent replays from the game and the only ones available are these long distance stuttering messes that look like they were shot with a first generation flip phone video from the top of the stands. Is that the video they sell for $6.95/game? If so, it's not worth 50 cents.

Couple of things. I believe Hanks is 2nd in the nation in rushing, and the media poll has Albany at #25.

Even if the season takes a bit of a downturn, just getting nationally noticed is a giant leap for the program.

yes it was pretty bad. Far away the whole time. Got really glitchy in the second half. Guy was talking about stupid stuff and not paying attention when plays moved down the field he didn't move the camera.

I didn't have access to the espn3 replay due to not having a subscription to cable/internet

Guy was talking about stupid stuff and not paying attention when plays moved down the field he didn't move the camera. . . . is this was on the same feed I had, I thought that his was just a young man and woman (students) sitting near an open mike in the stands (at one point he talked about an internship he had, and she didn't seem to understand a lot about what was happening, unless she just wanted to let him tell her) . . . as far as I could tell, there were no play-by-play/analysts on that feed . . .and the stadium announcer would NEVER give the down/yards to go info!! (And none of the camera shots showed the stadium scoreboard, so I was guessing most of the time.)

Yeah it was terrible. I had to open radio feed in another tab and it was within a second or two of each other so that helped.
