Yup, it's a down year for the team, but seriously? A win against Florida last year, 6th straight trip, and rewarded by the honor of playing UCONN during the first round?

 

Well, at this way they have a chance to make history.

Too be honest, I've been tired of hearing how 'perfect' uconn is always labeled.....

Here is an interesting article about the NCAA women's basketball tournament and possible host schools that are in the state of North Carolina. This may influence the seeding for the UA women. It appears that Duke will be a 3 seed which would have set up a rematch of the 2015 first round nail-biter by making UA a 14 seed. Will the state travel ban put us in a first round game at 2 seed Maryland as a 15 seed.

 

 

So - I almost had it right but Maryland was the 3 and Duke was the 2, so instead of moving us up to a 14 the committee drops a big pile of $iena on us and sends us to Storrs. This will be an experience not a basketball game. We've already been there done that.

anyone see the video of when they announcement. The team literally started laughing and looked at each other in a state of shock. Pretty amazing.
