SCHENECTADY - “I was just hoping to get 40 helmets and 40 shoulder pads,” said Holy Trinity Head Coach John Barber.

But Barber and his team got so much more.

Uniforms and helmets from University at Albany, shoulder pads from Schenectady High School as well as other equipment and money from dozens and dozens of donors.

 

Good job Mr. Benson, Gattuso, and whoever else in being swift to act!

It's fitting that they will be wearing "UAlbany" on their chests...cause in this case the U stands for United and then Albany...the capital region came together.

Great job by everyone and every school/company that donated equipment. Unfortunately the "other" football team wearing Albany uniforms on Saturday didn't fare any better

than the Danes. But great job holding it together Holy Trinity!
