UA Students on Trial

Recommended Posts

Seeing the headline in this morning's local Times Union online edition about the 7 women being arrested for a hazing incident reminded me about the two remaining women who were supposed to stand trial on last January's bus incident.

Does anyone know any more details on that case? I thought the trial was supposed to take place in September. Just curious.

What was the gist of the incident?

And for last years incident of the black girls.... hopefully they got their asses fried.

No room for that bull$iena anymore.

The last I have read about the January bus incident was that one of the women pled guilty at a trial in Albany this summer and was sentenced to do community service. Also in the article published by the Times Union was the story that the other two women were not going to plead guilty but were going to undergo a trial scheduled for sometime in September. That time has come and gone, and I haven't heard any more of the incident.

Agudio sounds like a typical millennial liberal...the process the university used to expel her was unjust and unfair? LOL. Go cry in your safe space........or Portland, OR with the rest of your offended buddies (just please don't burn anything down like your buddies - maybe that you can handle). The president of the University went SUPER easy on you AND sided with your stupid rear end before any details were known and basically called out the accused (he should have lost his job for this IMO - glad he's gone). He allowed a rally at the academic podium for, as we now know, liars without knowing all of the details. And then there is the fact that she isn't charged with a hate crime...which if the shoe was on the other foot would have been the case. Bad move on their parts rejecting the original plea deals...likely because they didn't want to pay for the expenses of the people they attacked. Now they are more than likely looking at a few months in jail. Serves em right.

This whole thing is a mess and both the school and the city did a piss poor job of handling it in terms of severity. This brought a good amount of bad publicity to the school, etc.

Hope it's done after today too, but I also hope these girls are made an example of. I have zero sympathy and respect for people like this, regardless of where they come from or how they look. If you are willing to stoop to such low levels (really, the floor), to get attention, etc....you deserve everything you get and then some.

My angry post for the day.

Dude this isn't a political board. Take that $iena elsewhere

We've explicitly discussed this 'off topic' thing before here on BPF. OP should have put 'off topic' or 'OT:' in the thread title but it is what it is.

As for my opinion...no thanks. Don't open the thread. Simple as that. Just like I don't read most Volleyball/Track threads because I literally couldn't care less about those sports.

Move along. Dude.

Throw the book at all of em!

Agree. Anything short of a serious penalty will just encourage more false claims and diminish real claims.

While you may be correct, it doesn't mean that you can't tone it down a notch (even I do agree with your point).

My apologies...I get really fired up about what my generation is doing to this country with all of their political correctness and hurt feelings. What t'ed me off was that Agudio girl appealing the ruling saying she felt the system was unjust and unfair...typical 'always the victim' mentality my generation has.

Just don't verbalize every angry though that comes to you..lol...take it easy here on the crowd, the SEFCU staff, the athletic staff. I used to be like that but maybe I'm getting old...all these little things in life are just annoyances, video board not showing stats doesn't even move my needle any more. Much more important stuff out there to get upset over.

Like the bag policy..

FYI: I asked the staff about it at halftime. Apparently they had to integrate new software from ESPN and something wasn't working, so they made the decision to just scroll the logos of sponsors. From my understanding, they will have it working to show stats, graphics, and other new stuff by the Siena game. I'm not holding my breath.

Is there a sentence of any sort? Slap on the wrist? An hour of community service?

Resemblance of a wild pig's behavior.
