Just a reminder today is the last day to pre-order LCC tickets for season ticket holders. Otherwise you'll have to wait for general sale in October to get them.

Wednesday we got an email that said one week left by May 31.

I think you're right.

I didn't order the LCC tickets as I am waiting for Gotham classic info.

Haven't found definite info . Very vague on a Memphis article.

The Tigers’ highest-profile non conference game will come against Louisville on Dec. 16 at Madison Square Garden in New York as part of the Gotham Classic. The Cardinals and Tigers have played 89 times since 1948 but not since Louisville joined the ACC ahead of the 2014-15 season. As part of the contract for that event, Memphis also agreed to host three games at FedExForum against Bryant, Siena and Albany between Dec. 6 and Dec. 20 (or other mutually agreed upon dates).

Shocking the game against Siena is a Saturday night not during a school vacation. Just thought I would point that out.

I thought this was a nuetral site game held at the TUC. Article calls it Siena hosting Albany. Blah Blah Blah.

They probably call it that because otherwise the 'aints wouldn't have a home game in this event.

Don't think it affects us, but the NCAA hammered Louisville. http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/19643794/louisville-cardinals-coach-rick-pitino-suspended-five-games-ncaa

Pitino suspended for five ACC games, Cardinals will vacate all their records from 2010-2014, including the 2013 National Championship

I believe it's unclear yet what wins will be vacated as the school has 45 days to compile a report of games in which ineligible players participated. It could be all games or some...

I don't understand how schools constantly get hit with this stuff. It's not like this happens once every 20 years...it's like 2-3 schools a season it seems. Don't these schools have like huge compliance departments? I know I would if I was running them. Hilarious.

I think it's a case of people being humans. Some people think they'll never get caught; others think they just have to do it and suffer whatever consequences; maybe others just think they're too big, powerful, or influential. I often wonder why people get a third DUI when they know that the consequences are after they're caught. I think the situations are similar.
