Women also got an LOI from Julie Ford, a 6'2 forward from Cooperstown. Ford is also a starter on the football team.

We crushed Monmouth, not sure why we were still pressing with 21 seconds to go leading by 24.

Appears they have major problem filling football rosters at Cooperstown and the surrounding regions,

so they are forced to play 8 on 8 football. Never heard of such a thing, but I guess that explains Ford's situation.

I think 8-man (or now, 8-player) football is fairly common in the sparsely populated Great Plains, like west Texas and Oklahoma. Haven't heard of it much around here, though.

Younger Sister Came To Her Elders Rescue

When a friend joked that Abby had saved her sister’s life and could “hold it over her head forever,” Abby told her mother what happened “She told me the car was shifting the other way so that she was headed towards that tree,” she said. “But Julie turned the car so that she hit the tree instead.”
