[FB] Game 6 - @ Richmond - 10/7 - 3PM

Recommended Posts

Welp, offense looked inept last game so let's see if we get back on track or if we start to lose more cause teams have enough tape on us now.

Looks like we'll have to pay for this game ($5.95) and they have it listed as 2:30PM game.

Really Richmond? So annoying that teams still charge for streams of their games.

Richmond Fan here. By the way, I have no idea what to expect. Your team is very well-coached and your defense is strong. If you run the ball at the right side of our D-line, which is what Elon did, you might have a field day. The Elon RB put up 299 yards against Richmond, 2 weeks ago. It was a tough game to watch. I am certain your coaching staff watched the film. We could have stacked 9 guys on the right side of the line and we still couldn't have stopped him. Our running game this year has been non-existent, which is surprising, because we have very good backs. We are 0 for 7 on 4th and short this year. Our Coach has said that we will depend on the passing game more.

Per the news last night, Brunson is cleared to play. Surprising to me, and I hope they're not pushing it, but OK

I take exception with the well-coached comment *snicker snicker*. You must not have watched the inept playcalling we have exhibited in every game this year on the offensive side of the ball lol.

Offensive talent (Morfor, receivers, etc.) won't matter if your coach can't put you in a position to exploit said talent.

If they call another game with their heads up their rears, it's a lock for a Richmond W.

Listened to the radio interviews. Harris will be out a few more weeks. Crockett not quite there yet. Brunson passed all his tests.

Neither Albany or Stony Brook is scheduled to go back to Elon in the next cycle.

Albany is ranked in the top 5 of every defensive category in the CAA. You have the type of RB in Mofor that Richmond has trouble stopping. If Albany puts our QB on his back, it will be a long game for Richmond. Just 2 weeks ago, Albany beat a very good Villanova team.

Just a reminder the @UAlbanyFootball game at Richmond on Saturday at 3 will be televised on @SNYtv. Chs. 66 & 320 on Spectrum in Albany.

Ok, I have spectrum down here in FL. But, don't think I will have access to it on the tv.

Do they stream their stuff online as well?

Wary of a Richmond team coming off a bye week and we're banged up. Sounds like Brad Harris will be out for a few weeks but they hoping maybe Crockett can make it back for this game. Coach was talking about possibly taking the redshirt off one of the freshman WRs he really likes.

CAA schedule is a grind. This is our third ranked opponent in a row and going back another game, Monmouth is getting votes.

Solomon Simay played a little last week - he's a freshman. Not sure if that burned his redshirt or if he's allowed to play in one game and keep the redshirt.

Don't know much about the Richmond defensive line but I hope our Offensive line plays better than last week.

I'm optimistic. Even on the road, this is a winnable game if we avoid giving up the big plays and have some decent QB play.
