We stayed on the other side of the bay and loved it.  Less expensive.  Rented a car for 2 weeks and had a blast.  I hate heights and almost had a heart attack on the Road to Hanna!!!!!!

Been to Hawaii 6 times in the past 15 years. My wife and I absolutely love it.  If you go, don't spend the whole time Oahu. short flights to the other islands are cheap!

Only been there twice. Saw baseball there both times. Great Danes the second trip. Could certainly be "talked into" another trip. Will combine other games and tourist stuff. Will be able to add another island. Only been to 2. The one with Honolulu and the one with Hilo and volcanos.

Go to Kauai.  Its like visiting another country in the best possible way.

I'm no pro but I snorkled a bit in the Maldives during my honeymoon this past August. Pretty legit. Will have to keep this tip in mind if I ever go to HI.

I was referring to the Danes players as kids hah. I don't have any...but by 2023 that will likely change haha.

If I was a freshmen looking for some adventure as well as football, I'd certainly consider a team that will give me an all expenses paid trip to Hawaii lol.

Although the north shore big swell season is in the winter, there are always decent waves and good surfing on the north shore.  Extremely laid back and a cool mellow time.

I should clarify.  First trip to Hawaii was my honeymoon.  Other 5 were sales quota club trips through my company, which is an unbelievable incentive to make your quota.  

If you do decide to go for this game, the second island should be either Maui or Kauai.  Both are beautiful. Kauai is more mature and lush and has the Napali Coast which I personally think  is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

Was searching Pittsburgh schedule today and they have our opening game on 9/1 listed for 3:30 pm . Tickets only $15 also.
