Clickclack 610 Report post Posted March 18 Found some interesting information on the overall athletic budget of UA over the last 10+ years. Pretty remarkable growth...in both revenue and expenses. Sour link here if folks want to see how other schools do... http://sports.usatoday.com/ncaa/finances/
Eli 432 Report post Posted March 18 So we actually made money in 2016? I thought our level of program always lost money. That's great news!

I think there's quite a bit of massaging being done on the numbers side at colleges.

Remember, ‘School funds’ is half the revenue, and student fees thirty percent. That’s the only way the dept breaks even
Clickclack 610 Report post Posted March 18 My hope is continued growth in other revenue streams such as merchandising and licensing, ticket revenue etc. Hopefully our budget continues to make measured progress where possible and within reason to continue to field great programs. GreatDanes06 102 Report post Posted March 18 what is interesting, and I don't know if it is worrisome, is that ticket sales dropped by from 2015 to 2016. What was interesting was the insane drop from 2009 to 2010. You can clearly see when Casey Stadium overhead kicked in. The facility expenses exploded. Was the profit based off of Tom and Mary Casey gift?
