Thanks for update... Nova is a likely school competing at tournament time.. particularly the NCAA

He's basically guaranteed a sweet 16 going there. Things happen in March obviously but for a school like Villanova, it's almost a lock.

Compared to the other schools Nova is the closest thing to a sure thing....

Kansas is not a sure thing...they have some issues next year and the Big 12 will be stacked again.  Apples to Apples, the playing and coaching style of "Nova is a perfect fit for Joe.  Good luck to him.

Well, in the TU today, Joe thanks everyone except WB. This is not a slight against WB. Joe needs a family feel which is not part of business of the Div I basketball. Good luck to Joe.

Eh I'm over these two. Odd he didn't thank Brown but that says more about him than it does about Brown. If Brown and Co. didn't put in the work they did to retool (at least on paper), then I'd care more but I literally couldn't care less at this point. Don't let the door hit ya where the lord split ya, fellas!

We have to remember that we didn't win ANYTHING with these guys. It's not like we just won the AE and danced and they up and left which would have indeed been hurtful as we'd be unlikely to repeat the feat as is UA tradition (we don't win just 1, we win 2 or 3 at a time :) ).

Don't see any issue with the article, he was just listing people that he spoke with the most to help him make his decision. Hope both players kill it at their new schools. In the end what happened will probably be best for everyone. Both guys gets to finish up at big time programs and Albany gets a little reset. In all honesty if it didn't work last season it probably wasn't going to work this upcoming season. Not like we were close to winning it all, plus we were already looking at a reset at the four and the five. Talented team last season that obviously had issues so instead of worrying about anything lingering the program gets a reset for this year and the players get to show their skills at P6 schools.

Saw David's dad post this yesterday, so seems no ill will towards UA.

I wonder how much the heavy course load affected the play on the court.

David's breakout sophomore season, with 1st team all-conference honors, had everyone excited for his junior year and what he would accomplish, which ended up being a step-backwards.

Is it really true that Joe is having Jumpin' Jack sent to Philadelphia?

Looks like Cremo and Nichols could face each other next season. Both Villanova and Florida State are playing in the Advocare Invitational in November. As the Villanova fan site puts it "a battle to determine who got the better Albany grad transfer."

David was on UA campus.

Was good to see David Nichols today. He stopped in to camp. We had a real good chat. He seems to be doing well!-CB on twitter

Also posted a video Knotts posted on Instagram.
