We have an official visit from Nyc Burns on May 16.  Formerly an Oklahoma State signee, playing at Neast Oklahoma CC this year.  Has three years of eligibility

6’5 200lbs 

I have been watching him for a bit...hope he signs.  Kid has some serious upside.  Averaged 10yds a pass and 7 on the ground.  

I love that Davis is creating competition at one of the toughest and most important positions on the field.

Yes! I posted our offer to him earlier - either here or under 2018 recruits with his videos etc..  He could step right in.  BUT we also are going after Jake Allen  - the "gator" transfer it seems like.

In a bit of a surprise and a steal, Liam Maloney is now coming to Albany.  He’s a 6’8 275lb lineman out of Holy Trinity / ND Bishop Gibbons.  He originally signed with UCONN, and they were very high on him.  He was also recruited by Boston College and Syracuse...and we had offered as well. 

He will be heading to Schenectady CC in the fall of 2018 and then enroll in January of 2019.  

He will have all four years of athletic eligibility (Fall of 2019-2022).

WOW!  Nice get!!  Thanks.  Is there anything in writing on this?   Would love to read about what happened.  In looking at the UConn site.  I don't think he actually signed with them, just committed.  COuld be wrong though.
