UAlbany vs UMBC - Men's Lacrosse - Date & Time Change

They better make their run this year, because this performance didn't inspire much hope for the future once Fields, JD, Kyle, etc. leave.

Everyone knows my position!!!  And some of you agree with Marr.  Looking toward a game two weeks away and not worrying about THIS game.  Just blew the season, blew the brackets.  Outrageous!!!!! Psychologically you need to have a leader on the field - guys can only go so many games without that.  I am fed up.  Good night!

You are right there was no leader on the field tonight, but even as the last seed in the field with Connor and Reh we have a chance to win the whole thing. Brining back Connor too early and losing him dooms any chance we have to win it all.

Wake up call. Bad offense, Bad defense, Bad goal tending. But most disappointing NO sense of urgency from the get go. Played like they "thought" they could turn it on at any time; only they never did turn it on. Supposedly a good week of practice? I wonder? Team looked tired and slow from the get go. Long BUS ride just too much? I guess/know I was WRONG about the new kids on O; but why the D was bad, I just don't know. Almost two weeks off to RESET.

Hopefully they use the next two weeks to get healthy and get their asses back on track.  Not glad they lost obviously, but do like that they have to stew over it for a while.

Everyone calm down. This was bound to happen at some point. Get it out of the way now with no Connor and Justin.  I don't think they drop far knowing that their two best senior attackmen are out.

I agree. Still top 5 I believe. Win out and finish top 3. One bad game has not turned this team in an also ran. Almost two weeks off;  get rested and healthy RESET.

So my wife tells we are going out to dinner with a few neighbors tonight.  I said, damn, wanted to watch the game but I figure its UMBC, should be easy win and I will watch highlights later.  WTF happened!!  Peeked at live stats couple times and figured we about to go on 10 goal any minute and put the game away.  Terry Foy of IL said on bracketology story if we run table, we may have the greatest season of all time.  Maybe boys have been reading the hype too much. What a year to be a Retriever.  Take down 2 #1's.   Damn!

I figure there are four parts to a game. Offense, defense, goal and X. TD was dominant and UA was seriously outplayed at the other three. Game over. And it was Not as close as the final score.

It was a very quiet bus ride home with a lot of soul searching.

Not a terrible thing at this point in the season.

The women won their 5th in a row.  Maybe seeing what UMBC's men did will give them some hope for the Stony Brook match up.
