Another QB added to the 2018 Roster

Recommended Posts

Joe Davis doesn't screw around.  Just received a commitment from talent rich Florida.  Marlon Serbin, out of Cypress Bay (Weston, FL).  Kid grew this year and is 6'2 190.   A lot of Dolphins live in Weston (I used to tend bar in the town).  He's adding QB's and letting them battle it out.

Serbin's H.S. plays at the highest classification, 8A.

"2018 – Marlon Serbin, Weston Cypress Bay. After a solid junior season for the Lightning – coming in from Mater Academy the year before – this is a prospect who really had the chance to turn his talent level up a few notches. Had a solid offseason – and was watched plenty during the spring by several colleges. Is also an excellent student in the classroom, attracting Ivy League attention as well." http://miami.cbslocal.com/2017/05/31/recruiting-south-florida-area-qbs-continue-to-improve/

Marlon Serbin, QB, Weston Cypress Bay. From his youth league days – in Miami-Dade – to the past two years as the starter for head coach Mark Guandolo and his Lightning, this is one of those talented and experienced athletes who flew beneath the radar screen. Despite his ability run and pass and put up some impressive numbers, the interest is not what it should have been. In addition to what he has accomplished on the field, at Miami Beach, Mater Academy and Cypress Bay, his work in the classroom has been amazing as well – which will continue to open doors.  https://wqam.radio.com/articles/radar-plenty-senior-talent-out-there

Yep posted him on the recruits page.  He actually is from this year's class and has signed.  Runs a 4.55

Yeah - watched his videos last night.  Great arm, very quick.   They are trying to find a QB for the future,  Got three already signed for next year.

I really do suspect that the Free Tuition for NY State Kids is opening it up so they can offer a few more full rides to out of state kids.  I REALLY like the DE, OLB from Golden West JUCO who was offered and was on campus last week.  Kid is good.

Agreed.  Want that kid.

His brother posted a tweet thanking everyone for looking out for him.  Looks like he had a GREAT visit.
