Twewaratan list came out, no Fields or Ierlan.   Expected that. Fields has missed too many games.  If not injured, it was his unanimously.  As for TD, he is a sophomore.   Even the top scorer Teat from Cornell didn't make it.  Baptiste,  Reeves, Gunderling, Spencer, Kelly were the 5.

Ierlan should have made it, sophomore or not

We have a good friend who starts for Richmond, and we were talking about it last night. The last thing they wanted was an even more fired up Albany team to play. I think TD is going to be on more of a mission if that is even possible.

Weather an issue tomorrow. ½ inch of rain expected morning to late afternoon. Even if rain subsides by game time, field will be wet. Do Not know if this favors one team or the other?

The field has great drainage, might be a little wet on the surface but should be fine.

Probably not good for Connor's knee situation if he plays.

Total BS.

Season record is Mark Goers, Towson, 1994 (166 of 214)  .776  Career  Steve Shaw Delaware, .707 ( 838 of 1186)

"Baptiste is part of a tandem of faceoff machines re-writing the NCAA record books right now. Baptiste's career faceoff win percentage sits at 71.9 percent with a handful of games left in his career, which will break the mark held by Delaware's Steve Shaw. Shaw won 70.7 percent of his career faceoffs with the Blue Hens.

Baptiste has won at least 270 faceoffs in each of his first three seasons, and if Denver can push itself a few rounds into the NCAA tournament, he'll likely hit that mark for a fourth year.

Incredibly, though Baptiste will finish this year with what is currently the finest faceoff career in the history of the sport, he ranks second in the nation in faceoff win percentage this year.

That's where the other half of that previously mentioned tandem, Albany's TD Ierlan, comes in. Ierlan is on pace to become the first player to win 80 percent of his faceoffs in a season, and at his current pace, Ierlan will break the record Baptiste set this afternoon in two years' time.

However, for the time being, Trevor Baptiste is the NCAA's King of the Faceoff. What a career he's had."
The standings as of today.  Outrageous that TD is still not on the list

Anyone catch Carcaterra on 104.5 earlier?

He made the case for why Connor should play regardless. His point, and it was a good one, was that Connor should play inside like he did Lyle's senior year and focus on being a finisher again, and let Patterson and/or Tehoka be the primary ball carriers. His main reason is that you wouldn't want Connor in a new role against a Denver or ND in the second round if they get past Richmond.

Although just on twitter that Connor is doubtful for tomorrow.

Roger Wyland is reporting on his sports segment .... Conner is doubtful ... my opinion ... he needs to ready to play hard ... and if he cannot ... then let the coach know ... he needs to do the right thing for his team mates ...
