I'm not sure. ..however if the Albany Empire, out of a 4 team arena league, can get 10500 at their last home game, I see absolutely no reason if we market ourselves right we cant average 8k to 10k a game.

They market the crap out of the Albany Empire. We need to do the same. In my opinion that's what we r highly lacking as a University.

Agree!

The Empire don't have to worry about the weather, and we have a pretty unattractive early schedule (unless Morgan St. brings their band) but I'd still expect 6-7 thousand for the first three games, a full house for homecoming, then hope for sunshine and being in contention for the Delaware and Stony Brook games.

http://cbs6albany.com/sports/beyond-the-games/ualbany-football-holds-media-day,  thought this was good.  Davis has NO loyalty to Brunson or Testaverde for that matter.  Burns was pretty good at the interview.  Can't wait to see how it works out.  And then there's the freshman who will all be reshirted I am sure.

missed this the other day:

Nice articles on EB and McDonald. Look at sports sub heading down the page. The Gazette is really doing a bang up job this year. Andrew Grella did the article on Donovan and Kelly the article on EB.

All three QB’s are great kids.  One nice piece of insight, and Section 205 may need to come up with other gripes this season, is that the offense is expected to be fast paced and frenetic.  Very similar to the Oklahoma State offense.  This comes up during Nyc Burns interview.

What a refreshing change.  We could be very dangerous if one of these kids can run it proficiently.

I love it! I'm not a fan of the 'ground & pound' offense the Jets have been using for years and that UAlbany seemed to employ more often than not. It's boring. I want throws deep. I want action.

Yep, me too, although I am a defensive guy.  That's what Davis brings to the Offense. Plus two great backs and a bunch of WR, TE etc.  If the line is improved at all we might be much better.  One caveat is that you need a QB who can do it.  I watched Burns videos again.  He might be right that he has a leg up.

Burns is tall and has a solid arm. What makes me like him, even more,is his foot speed/scrambling ability.
