Hey I know we are a couple of weeks away but my in-laws are from Pitt and I am ironically now going to Pittsburgh labor day weekend. So I was wondering if anyone else is going and or know where the Albany fans will be sitting.

I saw Carmelina Morrison at the Albany Alumni baseball game yesterday. She said there was supposed to be an option of tailgate only for those of us that already have tickets. It would be posted later in the week

I’ve lived in Pittsburgh since 2010 and have season tix to Pitt football (wife is an alum). Obviously for this game I’ll be donning the Purple & Gold. Tailgate going to be open to those who didn’t purchase tix through Albany?

Yes, "Before the game, meet up with UAlbany alumni and fans at the Alumni Association Tailgate.  Cost is $20 and includes game ticket, tailgate and a donation to the UAlbany Fund.  Tailgate only $15."

I’d encourage everyone coming to the game to get out and enjoy the city. Fantastic sights and things to do. The annual Rib fest will be going on outside the stadium for all you bbq fans.

Looking forward to seeing some purple around town!
