Also as pointed out on the Iona board the school in question isn't sienna so Danes RGood's assumption seems reasonable ?

After reading a few articles about him it seems either he finds trouble or trouble finds him. He was suspended for big game in HS, was suspended for breaking team rules at Illinois St, left Illinois St for a JUCO. Now this. He claims the Iona thing was self defense.

Asante Gist, who scored a ton of points at Eastern Kentucky Kentucky his freshman year was a mid-season transfer to Iona. He wasn't supposed to be eligible until January but the NCAA gave him a waiver so he'll he eligible for our game. 

Between the grad transfer rule and now this waiver, as an Albany fan I just want to say, "thanks so much NCAA for all you've done for Albany basketball recently."
