The Coaches Cure CF game is January 5th this year. Albany is 5-0 in Coaches Cure CF games.. let's see if that magic can continue against a good UVM team.

 

 

 

 

The GOAL this year is to raise $5,000! The fundraising has just begun and we're at $600 or about 12% of the goal. Support Coach Brown, those with Cystic Fibrosis and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation by donating to help us get to the 100% mark. Information:

On Saturday, January 5, 2019, the University at Albany Men's Basketball team will be hosting its 6th Annual Coaches Cure CF basketball game. I am raising awareness and funds through this event to help support the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - to find a cure for all people with cystic fibrosis. The annual UAlbany Coaches Cure CF game began at UAlbany with a 74-63 win over Maine during the 2013-14 season. Since then, the effort has raised more than $18,000 in the fight against cystic fibrosis.

The first 30 gifts of $25 or more in support of the event can earn you a ticket to the Coaches Cure CF game against Vermont on January 5th. All contributions, small and large, are appreciated!

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has fueled dramatic improvements in cystic fibrosis research and care. Because of the Foundation, people with CF are living longer and healthier lives. The outlook for people with CF continues to improve year after year.

Another solid game from the Danes and this time we pulled out the win.The team continues to grow and finished the OOC schedule strongly.

 

UA finishes 4-1 against the MAAC. Would have been 5-0 if we didn't have Iona as our first game and had them after our guys had a few games to gel. Definitely would be 6-0 if we had LCC on the schedule. #taketheirlunchmoney

 

The record clock resets to 0-0 and now it's time for AE basketball facing one of the 2 powers in our conference.

Your maac scenario makes no sense... If he had won at iona we'd be a perfect 5-0...as you'd move the one loss into win column...

IMO strategy for this game should be to let Lamb get his and stop everyone else. Dude is a monster. In the last few years...who's been more dominant in the AE, Lamb or Warney?

So all of the teams D1 wins in the OOC were against MAAC teams? Awesome. There was a lot to complain about in the OOC, but the team has, and will continue to, improve, but this is a great silver lining. The one MAAC loss to Iona could have easily been a win. 

Time to show growth and show the AE this will be a contending team with a win against UVM at home.
