I thought Hank was playing well. Played hard and was not in foul trouble and only plays 14 minutes???

Everyone thought Lauderdale and French were coming along and they get 3 min total??

I'm with you... I don't know what he's doing with this rotation right now...

Why didn't he play the bench more in the last 10 minutes? We know what Campbell can and can not do. I also thought he should of rested Lulka more since he did not look right with his wrist injury.

Guy put up 15/8 with 3stls and 2 blocks... I though he was one of few bright spots.

I don't know why de Sousa can't get in and Campbell plays 24 minutes 2pts zero rebounds... I mean seriously... How?

Campbell needs to find a permanent seat on the bench by Fruschio. For every game where he might make 1 or 2 big jumpers, the guy has 5 games of going 1-10 for like 2 points. And his defensive prowess is vastly over rated. Kid is slow footed. Or he's lazy...senioritis?

Outsmarted and out-toughed.

Vermont did exactly what they should have done against Clark. Double team and force the ball out of his hands and we weren't able to run offense after that happened. He compounded it by trying to do too much when there was nothing there. He's going to get killed here but I thought he played his butt off. He made some bad decisions and Vermont didn't make many, if any.

I often defend Devonte but he didn't look like he wanted to be on the floor tonight.

As others said, Lulka was the only bright spot other than the extended GDAC area.

Puzzled about some of the linesups. I thought Hank played well. Also, Lauderdale is physical. Surprised he didn't see the floor as we were getting beat-up inside.

I thought this was interesting. Granted we don't have many students who come to games but IMO they should always do this as it send the fans who'd normally sit there (and/or the Band) to another section and helps fill out the main sections of the arena.

Vermont walked in and took the soul of this team... Brutal loss. We look like a d2 team against them. Beaten like a drum...

With a young team... This loss may send them into a spiral. They aren't competitive AT ALL.

Tonight's loss was neither the players' fault nor a product of coaching. Vermont is simply bigger, faster, more athletic, and better. UVM consistently gets 3-star recruits, and we, for the most part, get 2-star recruits. Our players did their best out there. A few thoughts:

-We are closer to Oneonta in talent than UVM

-We have a great coach who will help our players reach their genetic potential and play great as a team. We will improve, but UVM's current and future ceiling for their players is higher.

-UVM's bench might beat our starters. Their guards are so much better and more physical.

-Coach and the players are doing everything they can. And they will improve.

-Lamb is a great player but to compare him to former SB player Warney is blasphemy. Warney was incredible.

-If our guards can improve over the next year to play like the Duncans on UVM, I would be very happy.

-We were lucky to lose by only 30. For those of you who did not see the game or were not there in person, the talent difference is striking. Think prior UA teams vs Duke or UA vs Oneonta (last year) level of difference. Closing this talent gap will take awhile.

- I feel bad for the players; there was nothing they could have done, and to have to endure that before a relatively large crowd was humiliating.

-I remember VCU whooped us at home several years ago. Was this our worst loss at home in Coach Brown's tenure? Did Jamar ever lose a game this bad at home?

-So how do we consistently sign 3-star recruits like UVM? I have no idea, but it will probably fall partially on us (the fans). More fans consistently attending the games, more donations for basketball, and fundraising for a new arena. Also, while Albany is larger than Burlington, UVM doesn't have to compete for media coverage, fans, sponsors, etc. UVM is also a basketball school and does not have a football team to support like we do.

Clark can beat people off the dribble but he usually finishes it with a stupid trick shot layup trying to get a foul call.

Because he is too small. It's not his fault, and he plays his tail off. He is just outmatched physically compared to UVM. Love the guy though and hope he keeps getting after it.

Hang around after the game, listen to post game analysis, the Clark factor and the lack of emotion coming out for the 2nd half.  I wonder why more of the team is not rotated in.  Lots of hype on the new pick ups and now little to show for it particularly tonight.  Can the team recover and move on?  We have to wait seven days to find out.

I disagree with so much of this post but I'm to tired to respond maybe tomorrow or Monday.

You need to go do some homework on how many 3 star recruits uvm has... Lamb was one... That's it. Moll I think may 2 but he was awful today. Now imagine running 4 molls out there as far as experience and maturity. That's what Albany is doing with rizzuto, Healey Hanks and lulka who had 15/8 today with 3stl and 3 blks.

Even Clark who is regressing as he presses... Played almost no minutes last year. I know I'm in the minority here but we'll be alright.

This uvm team is not as good as last years team with the bigs they had... And will take another step back next year with ernie graduating.

Fair enough, but recruiting stars aside, the talent disparity was stunning--at all positions, especially guard play.

You are comparing us on one of our worst days and them playing their A- game... Of course a 25 year old ernie Duncan is gonna look better then Healey, Rizzuto or Clarke.
