That was the most encouraging 40 minutes yet.  Team is close.  Very close.

It was the most encouraging 40 minutes yet but this team relies to heavily on Clark on the offensive end. Take him away and its pretty stale. So much of the offense starts beyond the 3 point line and no one else can really create or get to the stripe at all. They need to somehow find another guy who is willing to drive to the hoop and finish in traffic or take the contact and get to the line.

He is a role player at this point.  The 6th man. Agree he needs to be better but I'm not sure he will be. I think his minutes will continue to diminish.

Just looked it up.  He was 0-7 shooting but had 7 boards and 2 blocks.

He needs to continue to lose time as rizzuto and flory keep getting in game shape.

BTW flory looked really really rusty.

Dissappointing that de Sousa didn't get a few more minutes...

Looks like those minutes went to Flory, more or less. Hopefully Flory can develop into some scoring punch from the bench.

Lulka seems to be settling in. Had a nice game against a decent MAC front court in Kent State. I'd like to see him take more shots.

Need to continue to build off this game. Defensively the switches were much much better. Offensively the ball movement was better. The spacing was better. The flow was better.

Turnovers are high but we are getting better offensively so I do believe they will go down. I wanted a win but this was a very nice game against a very good team.

One thing that we desperately need is another slasher. Hopefully we can pick up one late because Clark is the only one that can beat anyone off the dribble consistently.
