Yep.  We struggle at Ludlholm.

Brown's comments after the game were great.  Team reminds him of the time we started 3 frosh way back when.  Y'all know that team.  He stated this core 4  frosh (plus DeSouza) will make the NCAA's.

Loved that comment so much!

Who were the three freshman that started? Was that the 2012-2013 team he’s referring to?

I think he's talking Iati, Brent Wilson and Gifford in 2004 (I think) but I may be wrong.  That is the only team that I can think of that had three freshman on the floor and then went to the tourney.  2012 when Hooly was a redshirt frosh, Rowley already had a year under his belt and others who played were upperclassman.

Post-game T-U story

"These guys are starting to get more comfortable," coach Will Brown said. "Since we have been pretty vanilla defensively with our schemes, that's helped our guys think less on defense and play more and focus on just getting stops. That's the side of the ball we need to get better at."

Brown said he wasn't sure how his team would respond after ending its five-game losing streak Saturday. He said he didn't like the way his players were responding at practice Tuesday and was as abrasive with them as he has been all season.

"For the first half of the year, I was too soft on this group," he said. "I coddled them, massaged their back too much. I wanted to be more patient with this group, and while I was being patient, I don't think I was coaching them hard enough. About two weeks ago, I said this group needs tough love, but you need to make sure you let them know when they're doing things well."
