Team had 6 days to prepare for UVM the first time and got blown out. Maybe the 7th day this time will be the answer... Lol.

Anyway, the team is in a completely different spot today than they were in early January. While I don't expect a win, I think the team plays much better this time and makes it a game.

I don't expect a win but I think this team is starting to understand what it needs to do to be successful and I think this game will be better than the first one. The first game was a rude awakening to conference play.

Maine, NH, and Bing all go 1-7 each in the second half.

Hartford, UML, UMBC, SBU and UVM each go 4-4

UA wins out going 8-0 in the second half.

UA ends in a tie for the #1 seed and gets home court for the chip

This game is so boring I had time to notice his second-half results have 31 wins and 41 losses. Maybe some of the Bing and UNH losses are so bad they’re counted twice.

In game 1 Vermont did whatever they wanted and we just let them do it, with a smile on our faces and a shrug of our shoulders. I don't think we will win this time around but I hope we keep it close and show some fight and fire. Push back this time around and let them know what is coming for them the next 3 years!

I love that we are playing better and beating the bottom of the conference but going up against the top of the conference is a totally different situation.  I just hope they don't let a loss to the top team in the conference send them into a tailspin again.

Every once in a while I think of the conference team that lost to us on our court last year by 44 then goes out to make history by becoming the first team in the country with a 16 seed take down a number one seed in a crushing slapdown. Can it happen again?
