Right on ground balls off the faceoffs kept Colgate close plus some bad passing on Offense and turnover's off of them.   Our Close D has to be better, missing the slide from the corners of the crease and allowing clear shots.  I noticed a couple of freshman getting beat this way.  They'll learn and progress as the season progresses.  We have a tough go early though so they have to get better quick!  Against Colgate there were a couple of freshman playing a lot on Def..  Ron Jon did not play at all.   Lots of line changes and subs, as it should be in a scrimmage to see what works and who is better together.  Also need middies to really step up, especially on Wing.  Those two ways like we have had in the past are tough to come by.
