Better to have a $ienater now than in three games from now.  Knock some sense into them .  Can’t only blame Clark for that horrible drive, or Rizzuto for his 3 pointer, or Brown for the lack of timeout.  $ienaty effort all around.  What’s better, the 5th, 6th, or 7th seed in terms of Vermont?

We got out assisted and turned it over a bunch more. To me, that was the difference. We clearly didn't care today...to move the ball or hold onto it.

The America east re-seeds so you’ll face Vermont either way in the second round unless the 2 or 3 seed lose.

Brown called for a time out 5 or 6 times. Noone heard.

If last night didn't convince EVERYONE here that this Albany team desperately needs a PG, nothing will. If a scholarship were to somehow become available, it's imperative that someone is recruited to run with the other young kids for the next 3/4 years. There is NO answer on the roster at the PG spot.

Last night the PG went for 2-8 with 1 rb, 1ast and 4to's one of them being ABSOLUTELY critical, at least the 3rd time this season in a loss where his poor decision probably cost us the game. 29 games into the season and here we sit...

100 percent right . I assuming (and I know I shouldn't) that because we are still recruiting,  that there will be at least one more scholarship to give.  Really need to work hard on this one and get a good pg. We can't miss on this one. A point guard is the difference in a couple of years of being good or great.

Agree gentlemen but here in lies the problem.  We can not get a solid D1 point guard that is a senior in HS because they have already signed elsewhere unless they were a late bloomer, committed to a D2/D3 school and can back out to join UA after a much improved senior season.  So that may leave us with the JUCO route again which is hit or miss, more miss, and they always need a year to acclimate.  I know another year of Clark, backed up by Brooks I guess, could hamper the development of the team.  What a conundrum.

Anyone have info on the “elbow” Rizzuto took to the face late in the game? Announcers said that the ref said if they review it and find no contact and Rizzuto was embellishing it he’d be called for a technical. So did Brown ask him if he got hit for real and Rizzuto told him no?

Curious on the Rizzuto thing too. That's quite the embellishment though...he went absolutely FLYING.

And agreed on Clark. I've been saying it all season and people have disagreed...he is Nichols 2.0. Plays to his own beat. If he wants a shot, he'll take a shot all else be damned. If he wants to drive to the hoop and ignore a guy in a corner and throw up some double pump, reverse, 360 spin, between the legs, around the head, off the backboard layup...he'll do just that, all else be damned. Granted he has made the right decision a number of times, but more often than not, his decision making is terrible. He's cost us a LOT this season. At least a couple of wins.

I'm sure he's a great guy and from all accounts it sounds like he is 100x the teammate that Nichols was...so I feel bad saying this, but on the floor, I think he's gotten the 'I'm the man this year' feelin a bit too much. Thing is, he isn't even The Man. Cameron Healey is The Man. This is Cam's team IMO.
