Long term plan is a point guard with a great handle and the ability to drive the lane, collapse the defense and dish for an easy bucket.  Clark has part of that equation, it's the rest of it that is the problem.  Healy and Rizzuto have an ok handle but if I am an opposing coach and see them bringing the ball up regularly, I am pressing them big time.  Don't think they can escape the press without turnovers.

Agreed, Healy's handle isn't good...very very lose and sloppy. Has a hard time breaking the full-court press where Clark carves it up.

I like that plan. Can we add ability to shoot from the outside?

I guess I'm curious about the lineup switch when Clark went out and de Sousa in since we removed our starting PG from the starting spot.

Starting point guards needs to contribute to winning and not go 4-15 with 4 tos... One only needs to look at the game logs in conference play to see the issue. Offensive effeciency has been in steep decline... To last few games are 5,4,3,3,4,3,3... Some of those turnovers have been in winning and losing time.

I'm sorry... Flat out need better.

I'm not arguing against the decision to remove Clark. I was wondering who they thought would inherit the PG duties when Clark went the bench. Hartford was smart to pressure Healy. It'll be interesting to see what adjustments get made.
