[FB 2019] Game #2: 9/7/19 - 7pm vs Bryant

Recommended Posts

Wow, lots of chatter here during halftime.  :P

Solid first half.  3 turnovers, one for a TD, some nice coverage and passes knocked down, running game looked very good and even Undercuffler made some nice throws.  Now let's put them away!

I like this score. Glad we didn't play down to the competition.

Cuff was done raw a bit by these receivers... About 4 dropped.

Good win... Did what they were supposed to.

Now that TD was a really nicely designed play.  Fake the run and the TE sneaks out of the backfield and it wide open over the middle.  Haven't seen something like that from them before.

This was a Ford favorite; but you are right have not seen it used in awhile.

Meant from this regime. Just good to see something non-standard from them.

Got all excited at the beginning of the game when I saw the white smoke on the player ramp, thought the conclave elected a new coach/AD

As a CAA footballing club, we are expected to spank teams like Bryant.   And we did.  Is that a sign of better things to come?  Were we that solid or does Bryant suck something fierce?

Well, Stony Brook was only up 14-3 on them at the half, and we had the bigger win, but the Bryant turnovers had something to do with it. The two big runs also made the score look better than 90% of the rest of the game.

Speaking of which, Alex James was named CAA co-Player of the Week

We caused the turnovers.  Something UA does a lot.  They attack the ball and look for interceptions.

We didn’t cause the muffed kickoff.

Of course not, but the rest were mostly as a result of UA player's  actions.
