Wasn't Will Brown supposed to be a great defensive coach? This is embarrassing.  This team will never be more than a middling team and program without some serious changes, whether that's a new arena or a new coach, i'm not sure...

The city of Albany is big enough to support and go crazy for a program with success, after 19 years, it still doesn't care...there's a reason for that.  I guarantee that new Vermont arena will be stuffed every night. 

7 20 win seasons out of 19 means 12 seasons of around .500 or worse.

I don't know what the answer is right now but this program is middling at best and getting worse. This is just a poorly constructed team on both sides. 

 

Ultimately Will Brown answers for this... Load up on a very weak schedule and go out and lose game after game. 

 

Peaks have been very good but the peaks have stopped coming... Only dissappointment or losing for many years now with hope being dangled.

Your starting pg is 2-6 with 5pts and 1ast. Everything on offense is a giant struggle. 

 

Offense is a complete disgrace and defense comes and goes. But usually goes when they can't buy a shot.

There's going to be down seasons. Brown has had them before.  4 bad years between the first two championships and the three-peat. This could be year two of of a bad stretch.  I'm not gonna jump on Brown. I wish they could win every season, I wish they could recruit the best kids every season but they can't and they won't.

Been the strategy for years... Leads to teams destroying us from 3. Just like q is doing... We don't fight over screens... We go under.

I believe I mentioned this last season: this mediocre play started when the entire staff became disciples of CB.  Maybe some new blood from other programs with different methods of coaching and recruiting would help.
