MEN'S BASKETBALL VS. AMERICAN MOVED UP

ALBANY, N.Y. – Following the reveal that the University at Albany football team will host a playoff game on November 30, the UAlbany men’s basketball game originally scheduled for 1:00 p.m. that afternoon has been moved up three hours and will now tip off at 10:00 a.m.

The men’s basketball team will host American on Saturday in SEFCU Arena at the new, earlier start time, leading in to the UAlbany football team’s FCS playoff game against Central Connecticut State at 1:00 p.m. in Casey Stadium.

Tickets for the men’s basketball game, which will be discounted to $10, can be found here. 

Tickets for the football game can be found here.

Parking for Saturday’s men’s basketball game will remain consistent to the regular season. Season parking pass holders are able to park in their respective lots with proper parking hangtags. Game day parking will be sold out of the Dutch parking lot for $10.

I like the 10am start for selfish reasons. Makes it way easier to bring the little ones with me. Early games remind me of the championship games we used to play to get into the tourney!

Ahmad is going to have his hands full with Sa'eed Nelson. Actually, everyone is. Four double digit scorers and they're probably better than their record since Nelson was out early this season.

This team sucks. This might be a 10-12 win team. My hype for this season is completely dead. All of the promising pieces from last year, aside from Healy, have done absolutely nothing this year. Specifically desousa. Is he even playing? Dude is invisible.

This program is stuck in mud.  Same slow offensive sets every time. No pace. No tempo no energy.  Time to move on from what doesn’t work and doesn’t get anyone excited enough to show up.

This is a frighteningly bad team... The og play is atrocious, bigs are all non d1 players. The recruiting strategy of jucos not a single one of whom is contributing is a complete and abject failure. I really don't know what this program is doing.
