Albany came out of the gates flat again but really picked it up in the 2nd half and probably had their best half of the season. Team played together (finishing with 19 assists) and didn't have as many turnovers leading to a solid effort and win. Congrats to Coach Brown on #300!

St John’s leads the series 5-3, on a 5-game winning streak. Last game was SJU 25, NYSCT 21 on Jan. 10, 1924.

BTW in those same years (1916-24) Albany Law was 4-1 over SJU

TU reports Hutcheson rolled his ankle late Saturday, it swelled up after the game, he and Rizzuto are still questionable. Lulka still gimpy, couldn’t go the last ten minutes Sat. They probably won’t be near 100% until the week break after Monmouth.

Team will practice this afternoon at the New York Athletic Club.

CB mentioned that Hansen doesn't have to shoot the other day. I remember during the Niagara game Hansen came out almost instantly after trying a three from the top of the key. He did seem to play in the paint more later in the game.

St. Johns might be without second leading scorer Mustapha Heron tonight. He suffered an ankle injury in their last game.

If Rizzuto doesn't get his shot fixed soon, he needs to be benched. He doesn't do anything else. He can't attack off the dribble, he's not a lock down defender, he can't be used to run the offense...he's just a body to eat minutes and give fouls at this point.
