French capitalized on good passes for easy layups/dunks and missed free throws.  He is not a Division 1 player.  He is big and that's it.

Completely disagree.  Kid has barely played.  At best your only response can, and should be, "we don't know what we have with him unless he plays more."
He was super athletic, super busy, his D was there...he was a bit sloppy with the ball...but I can't even imagine what kind of talent evaluation, on such a small sample, would leave anyone to state "he is not a Division 1 player".

Because I watch the games . Please go back and watch him . Early on he was fumbling passes ... missing easy hoops and terrible on defense (of course limited chances ). But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go back and watch the games he was in . TERRIBLE . and I mean ABSOLUTLEY ATROCIOUSLY TERRIBLE.

He played fine today. But he is not a division 1 player . I hope I am wrong. But right now, half way through his jr season, I am not.

Lulka has been the biggest bust of our Aussies, if you are using this as your basis.  Seriously...considering the expectations...tell me what he's done.

For clarity, I don't think he's a bust either.  But I am not so sure about your evaluation of talent.

That's the problem... There is no solution. Every kid you try sucks. When there is a glimmer of hope it's fleeting. Next game snaps everyone back to the horrible reality that this is a bad roster.

I don't know.. Sick and tired of loss after loss after loss. Record is 1-5 last 6 games. What are we doing here as a program?

This team is like my golf game.  I can go bogey, par, bogey and think I am onto something with a glimmer of hope and follow that up with two triple bogeys and a snowman.  😩😩

Can only use the Nichols/Cremo excuse for effecting recruiting for so long.

What are we doing as a program? I honestly think we are where we should be. The average finish in America east play since 2005-2006 has been 9-7. Middle of the pack in the America East. Yeah, yeah we have 5 championships more than any team besides Vermont. The same way some accuse Siena fans for hanging onto their glory days in the late 2000s, they could be doing the same soon at this rate.

I was starting to think I was the only one that thought that.

Let's revisit this again after the next 8 games. If ur right I was most certainly say I was wrong.

We can only revisit if he get significant data points to revisit, most considerably consistent playing time.  Otherwise it is a moot point.

You made a wild statement that a kid isn't DI.  You just don't happen to luck into what he did early on in the game at the DI level.

Full stop.

I'm not sure what that means.  I guess what I'm saying is that I will trust the coaching staff . If he plays and plays well ( makes a positive impact) then I will admit I was wrong.  If he sits the bench or plays poorly I'm going to say he is not worth his spot. (Not a D1 player) Again I hope I'm wrong and will come back to this post in around 10 games. I hope they win every game and French is a huge part . But I pride myself as truly knowing basketball , and I just dont see it in French.

I thought it was a little surprising that Kendall was in the game down the stretch and not French. I do think that's a little telling.

French going 2-6 from the line and Lauderdale going 2-2 from the line might have been part of the reason. Missed free throws will keep you out of the mix at crunch time.

Yet Hank was getting minutes in crunch time? That’s another thing I didn’t really understand

I thought they were switching for offense-defense at that point but I could be wrong.

That doesn’t make much sense since French was playing some solid D against Monmouths bigs. Was he injured? I know he took a shot to the face and never came back in after they took him out around the 10 min mark.
