Just a tough year. I do believe we have gotten better though. I would sit Healy until he is 100 percent.  We are a 1 bid league and only thr tournament matters.

Need to beat hford; second seed gives us two home games and won't have to play vt until champ game. If Healy can give us 10-12 poinst and 15-20 minutes; he should play.

I completley understand your line of thought. And I really can disagree with it. But let me ask you this :

Would you rather be the 4 seed with a 100 percent Healy going into the playoffs

Or the number 2/3 seed with a Healy playing 15 minutes a game.

We cant win anything without him so my line of thinking was that a 100 percent Healy is better then avoiding Vermont. Even a 2/3 seed and a home game does very little without a completely healthy Healy.

However we dont know how hurt he is. So if he can give it a go and not do anymore damage then I think he should play.

They fought hard. This has been the weirdest season in terms of guys getting hurt.

Going to be a tough turnaround for Maine - Ahmad, Rizzuto and Malachi played virtually the entire game.

Congrats to Ahmad Clark on becoming the 12th UAlbany player to score 1,000 points.

Another 9-7 season here we come 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not sure who you think we will lose to among Maine, UMBC, NH, and UML, but I am thinking 10-6. The team will go 3-1 against those 4 teams and beat SBU or UVM in round 2 and finish 10-6 right where most preseason polls predicted. Will probably end the season at 18-15 or if we are lucky 19-15 right where I said in the preseason would be the minimum they would finish (although I think I thought 23 or 24 wins was where they would actually finish).

Getting to 18 wins might actually be an over performance to preseason expectations if we knew back in October that the team would have this many injuries and missed games.

I could not agree more. When the preseason expectations poll came out I always thought a 3-5 win improvement would be good. The only downside to that was the extremely weak non conference schedule.

We seem to say this every year but next year is a huge year for Brown. (Not that he is in danger of getting fired). Our core will all be Jr's and we need to start winning again. Anything less then a top 2 finish in the league would be unacceptable (Vermont is losing Lamb).

How many games has this team lost or played themselves out of due to the inability to shoot foul shots? You look at the game, the box score...they could have won. Except for one glaringly bad stat. It’s a shame that it’s come down to that. They call it the charity stripe for a reason.

Bassett always worked with the guys on foul shooting. Last 4 seasons they were 20th, 28th, 45th, 47th in FT% nationally.  I can understand a guy like Hank will not be a stud at the line, but I always feel a guard should never be below 75%.  This season they are 185th.   Take Healy out of the numbers and they are horrid I bet.
