Game #31: UA @ UVM 3/3/20 - 7pm

Recommended Posts

Lulka concussion, Clark hamstring, JoJo knee, Healy hip, deSousa flu..man these guys need a health clinic.

Cam at least gave a second option this year until he got hurt. Clark made some crazy decisions this yr but what else is he supposed to do when most of his teammates are so unproductive or hurt. I don't blame him for pushing it even when it didn't make sense.

I think Cam's injury (Binghamton) hurt us way more than I thought. We were 1-6 after that..

DeSousa has had a hell of a flu...started like in November.

I agree. I also do agree with some of the negativity we had three losses during this stretch that the team seemed down and just beat up, like they didnt care or just were not playing hard and focused. We almost beat stony i liked that effort, i suprisingly liked the effort tonight vermont is just a level above until lamb and giddens graduate, mainly lamb who is nasty. I am looking forward to seeing what transfers and jucos we can add to the sophomore group, also will hank and lulka be back? Who knows but I like the core of rizzuto healy desousa and hutchesen now we need jojo amica and a bunch of jucos or transfers, can see them going 10-6 next year if healthy and they hit on two jucos or transfers... long ways away but i expected to go 9-7, 7-9 is bad to expectations when 7-4 but sky is not falling down .

This team should and probably will be picked bottom 2 or 3 in conference. Coming back are basically a pile of 6-9 type rotation kids and one starter in Healy who has a lot of things to work on in his game.

DeSousa is not a starter caliber player, neither is lulka or Hanks. I like how rizzuto finished the year but let's face it, 80% of the season for him was a complete and unmitigated disaster. Hutch? We'll see... Last year's class all regressed with this staff and system.

This is a bad program that needs a complete reboot. If I had to grade this year, it's a resounding F. I'm very pessimistic at this point about next year, the talent isn't here, the development isn't here. Half the roster is hurt all year but I suspect it's more of an excuse to explain away the losses. I mean we hear about DeSousa and flu... What explains his performance before the flu? It's nonsense and excuse making. Every time losses mount we hear about how of it wasn't for the injuries. They have a ton of scholarships to give so of they hit on a few kids maybe at best a 8-8 ae season. Kids rarely come in and make a huge impact so this team for a while next year will he this slop. Think about it... If EVERY SINGLE KID transfered... Would anyone be upset? Healy and hutch... Ok! I'm not saying they should or that I want them to but none of the remaining kids produced anything. And that's what you have to count on. I learned long ago to never rely on jucos or transfers or freshman. If you get anything out of them... Great... But they rarely contribute at a more then role player level. So this is what you got to look forward to.  A team with a kenpom ranking worse than last year. This season was a disaster unlike any I've seen in a while. Going to take a while to sort this smoking rubble.

I remember the when game threads use to be 10 pages deep. This program has really fallen off the deep end, but was it ever really at the top?!! Fun to think that some actually thought we were in the same class as Vermont.

Its a low level freezing winter division one school. Horrible and i mean horrible facilities. Went to three games this year and had to park literally a mile away. Brown set the bar high by winning five titles!

Cant read through all that lol!

You have to be on a PC to view the stats code. It doesn't work on mobile. It used to, but an update a year or two ago broke the functionality.

I just can't... I can't for the life of me understand this opinion. Your entitled to it but I don't get it. Why bother then with this defeatist attitude. Uvm is further North and has been smacking the $iena out of the ae for years.

Low level freeze winter division one games lol. What would you call Siena and the MAAC then. No ones forcing you to go.

I just can't... I can't for the life of me understand this opinion. Your entitled to it but I don't get it. Why bother then with this defeatist attitude. Uvm is further North and has been smacking the $iena out of the ae for years.

He’s clearly a troll in another way. Siena fan.

Low level freeze winter division one games lol. What would you call Siena and the MAAC then. No ones forcing you to go.

It's a 🐊 of $iena... You can win here. I posted the budget numbers etc. There is support and ability to win here. I would love to hear from brown how this went so horribly wrong...

I'm comin around to this thinking.

Do I think Brown could do more with better facilities? Sure. But is facilities the end all of our demise as a perennial AE power? No. Our lack of good recruiters is. I can only assume that Brown delegates recruiting but ultimately, he's the one that agrees with his coaches assessments so this year, he needs to do better.

It's nonsense...don't suck and you can win here. Go tell me. How many programs in the ae pay close to 400k per year.
