Starting a new thread as the discussion has moved to a conference only schedule 📅 for men's and women's basketball 🏀.  Likely start date 📅: after January 1, 2021.   Thoughts, feelings and opinions please

I think it is too early to discuss this or any of the options until they actually announce whats going to happen. 

That said, this will hurt mid-majors come tournament time, as there will be no way to accurately compare teams from different conferences.

Could the NCAA go really old school and go to one bid per conference?  It's only fair hahaha yeah this won't happen to much $$$$$$$$$$$$.

Six weeks and counting for the start of fall competition, student-athletes arrive in three weeks on campus for pre-season.  The time to make decisions is now.  Rick Patino, Iona Coach, has publicly discussed the idea. Further, the Ivy League will not play basketball 🏀 until 01-01-2021.
