BLM movement (as in, treat each other the right way - 100% agreed)...but the BLM 'organization'? That makes white people feel like they should be sorry for being white? Trash and a farce.
That being said, I'm fine with 'political statements' as long as they are applied equally/not in a hypocritical manner.
Example: I have no issues with LeBron James being vocal about social issues. Social issues exist. I get that. I see that. I hear that. Kneel, put something on your jersey, raise your fist...have at it, I have zero problem with it. Heck, my family left the Soviet Union due to social issues.
Example 2: I have MAJOR issues with DUMBASS LeBron James being vocal about issues in the US but telling people to shut up and calling them uneducated when they try to make light of THE SAME (OR WORSE) ISSUES in other countries WHERE LEBRON DOES BUSINESS (read: where American's do business). LeBron can screw ALLLLL the way off. He owes Daryl Morey a VERY public apology considering what has transpired in HK the last weeks/months (actually, so does Adam Silver and the NBA). To LeBron, issues are only important if 1) they affect black people in the US (but not black cops, black babies or other black people who actually disagree with him and support cops, etc.) and 2) if they affect his bank account. The people in Hong Kong facing worse issues than Blacks in America? Not a problem for LeBron. Blacks facing injustice or rough conditions in the inner city (some of which is their own doing - lets not kid ourselves)...LeBron is upset. LeBron is a hypocrite who is only concerned about his image and wallet. If he helps 10 or 200 kids along the way, cool, but the bottom line is for him to be on a pedestal. Just look at how he acts at his sons basketball games...taking the spotlight from him.
That's where I stand. Take it or leave it.
TL;DR: Be a political SJW but be uniform across the board. Otherwise, it's just hypocritical nonsense.
