  2. This latest release says re UG "Construction for phase one of the project is set to be completed in March of 2023." So unless as suggested this is a misprint, there won't be games there this December. HVCC says their field house seats 3500, so I think that's a better option than Glens Falls. I wonder if the old Albany High gym in the basement of what's to be the new School of Engineering is still around. Just to torture opposing teams and fans alike.

  3. Army defenseman Marcus Hudgins entered the NCAA’s transfer portal on Thursday with two years of eligibility remaining, multiple sources told Inside Lacrosse. Named a preseason first-team All-American heading into 2022, Hudgins did not suit up for the Black Knights this spring due to personal reasons. OK, Scott go get him!

  5. "Athletics" can be a collective noun for all the events, like "crew" or "team", so "Athletics is Awesome" is at least defensible; you don't say "athletic" as a noun, only as an adjective. But the purpose of the statement is questionable.

  8. I don't know how they can start season ticket sales until they announce where the games will be played. I remember we played one game at the St. Rose gym when the SEFCU floor was being replaced, but that's too small and not viable for a whole season.

  9. Also, in not so great news...potentially.... 9. Bleacher Seating- I came across this in a presentation about Summer 2022 construction at the University: Q: Is it cost prohibitive to eliminate bleacher seating and go with all chairbacks in the reno of SEFCU Arena? A: From the standpoint of staying within the budget we have committed to the project, we have decided to move forward with bleacher seating. I am hoping they mean bleacher seating with chair backs (telescoping bleachers) vs. bleacher seats. That WOULD be disappointing to lose 400 seats and not have chair backs as was originally intended for most of the arena.
