  1. Post game presser prop bets: +105 Gattuso complains about Towson throwing for a TD with under 2 to go -110 Gattuso complains about Towson running up the score with under 2 to go 15-1 Gattuso accepts blame 5-3 Gattuso blames the staff Even Money Gattuso says we were close, untimely turnovers cost us.
  2. Good for him. I think he is built to be a pro coach and administrator. Who knows where this will lead.
  3. He's got three winning seasons: Two 7 win seasons and one 9 win season. I distinguished between overall and CAA. He only has ONE winning CAA season and a .500 season, meaning 6 losing seasons and one even season.
  4. 34-47 Overall19-38 CAA 13-23 over the last four seasons, including 8-17 in the CAA3 winning seasons out of 8 at the helm. 1 Winning season and 1 .500 Season in the CAA. Highest finish 2nd (against a weaker CAA / OCC schedule that year), average finish 9th of 12 teams. It was going to take a bit to build in the CAA...but not this long. Solid facilities and good fan base when the team is palpably good (no doubt can average 7000+ without much effort). One year left on his contract, though Albany has a history of letting contracts run out. Considering the AD went all-in on football, I would not be shocked if he makes the change this year. Currently 0-7, probably will finish anywhere from 1-10 to 2-9. 3-8 would be an achievement for this underachieving squad.
  5. Precisely. And let’s be honest, they were getting the best players for a reason. Grants.
  6. My biggest issue is I see zero leadership from Gattuso and no palpable growth. I will say the defense is close to lights out considering the youth. That’s great. But I go back to offense. Nada. I also contend that the inflated head coaching record at Duquesne helps his cause. The Dukes were dominating that league for good reason.
  7. This program is fully broken. Full Stop. We don't have time for Gattuso's contract to expire next year. Change must be made NOW!!!!!! I don't want to hear bull$iena about "we were close, we lost by less then x, this many games". Winners find a way to win those games. I lost my respect for this man years ago when he whined like a baby against a class act like Talley of Villanova. In that game, Talley called a run for his fourth (or fifth) string, senior running back, who scored. Gattuso's actions that day were disgusting, and I have never, ever forgotten his lack of class. He's pulled that crap numerous times. It's one thing if the team performed. It hasn't. We average like 11.5 points ppg this year in CAA play...and 18.5 given up. The 18.5 is nice. And I don't want to hear him playing the OC. The line full stop is AWFUL. Receivers can't hold onto footballs. And the QB's are punch drunk from getting hit. Gattuso's judgment of running an offense should have been called into question when he let his failing DC takeover OC calling duties. I'm done...can't take this $iena any further. Calling Bob Ford...
  8. It’s way bigger than Stony Brook facility, sq footage wise. Plenty for practice and it will house a fully compliant ncaa track and field setup for indoor meets. Frees up space in sefcu. You don’t need a full indoor field, being 36 yards short isn’t going to hurt (including two end zones). Plenty of D 1 schools don’t have full sized fields
  9. Ummm, what? What construction of an enlarge dome for athletic practice, meaning where is that going. That's supposed to be a separate standalone facility. This would be a big deal if it were going in the pool area. The locker room complex will be at Casey when built, not in the PE building. I'd be surprised, not shocked if they dumped a huge amount of money in the locker room. That said, the most important need to that locker room is air conditioning. The big takeaway for me-- what is the gym going to look like. if they do a bang up job with new bleachers, that would be telling as the basketball team would likely play there during any rehab of SEFCU or, if a new building is being built and the site is demolished, playing in the gym as well.
  10. So, apparently the team had at least Mine Grey and Roy Alexander out due to Covid Protocols. 2 of top 3 receivers. Frankly, doesn’t change the game as I don’t see us losing due to receivers being out. When asked why he started Carino, Coach stated some things are out of my control as a football coach. When asked if Undercuffler is healthy (since he travelled and dressed) he got defensive and said he wasn’t going to get into this stuff. He did follow up with "We trotted out everybody we could today that was able to play. We just couldn't get it done." so, if JUC is not healthy, why not just state it. What’s the huge secret. This is the crap I don’t get. It’s a Division 1 football team. Either your star QB is injured or, for the time being, you are unhappy with his play and you wanted to spark the team with the backup. Or JUC committed some team violation. Either way, it’s not the end of the word. what’s the big Binging deal. Spit it out.
  11. Undercuffler is a healthy bench. Coach decision offense looks so much better. defense same old stoutness absolutely throttling W&M. credit where credit is due. Coaching staff has the team prepared.
  12. 0-6 is nearing a reality 11 first downs. That’s less than 3 a qtr average. That’s awful.
  13. Big time recruiting win for the staff. Jonathan beagle just committed. He’s a 6 foot nine center out of Hudson Falls, with offers from Hofstra, Siena, Vermont, Iona, Stetson, UMass and Pitt. Big-time way to mark the capital District territory by our staff. Good luck to Jonathan and great job by the staff
  14. With all due respect, you know who I am and I have never, ever come out like this. So with respect to you, focus on the numbers. Literally go look at my other post about our records, etc. you will be shocked. it’s taken me 8 years, but I’ve seen enough. and all due respect, I’m entitled that opinion. Right now this is a bad football team.
