So the PE building reno is step 1 in this process? Or is this just a reno because of ware and tear of a 60 year plus old building? or both? bummed the school is loosing the pool.

So trying to understand the PE building renovation would this help athletics? Seems like a big job without any fanfare, anyone on the know with any insights?

dsl- I think CAA football is going to look very different and more like an AE football conference after JMU and maybe ELON leave for FBS' most likely sunbelt. I am very comfortable with where our programs are. We are only a bizarre season removed from our first playoff at large birth and win. As for basketball we can be competitive with the current budget it is close to the median for the AE. Also I think your going to see this years basketball budget increase because of the money games coach is putting on the schedule. Anyways my friend it is late have faith and drink the purple Kool-Aid ohhh yeah.

Hey we didn't embarrass ourselves or the conference, we got paid and we tested ourselves. All in all not bad. Things to work on yes. If we have the same result against URI then yes panic but in the words of Mr. Rodgers R-E-L-A-X. Also let us be grateful we are having a season and a home game for the first time in 2 years.

Looking at resumes the men seem to have a good assistant coaching experience. I like what I read about Desmond a little better than Killings.

So this would be Killings first full time head gig.

I know Benson is public enemy number 1 for some on this board me included. We should take A LITTLE comfort in that he wants to prove he can hire winning coaches so he can move to a better job. So we will see.

St. Rose could use some infusion of talent been a few rough years down the road on Western Avenue.

I could see Baseball being the first of any team axed. I drove by the field yesterday and it has got to be the worst of all our athletic facilities at the school.

As a fan of the Patriots I went through similar feelings about a year ago. 20 years is a long time and i am grateful for the memories.

Anyone else watch when Brown and Gallegher had a longer than normal talk after the game? CB looked like a man who knows what is coming. I hope he gets extended as he is the only UA basketball coach I have ever known (my freshman year was 2001). If it is his time I will hold him in the same light as some of you hold Doc Sauer. I doubt the grass will be greener on the other side without some considerable investment (renovated arena, private practice arena etc.), If Benson does move on hope it works or it will be his butt..

I see CB getting another 5 year extension looking at Benson track record. Think the Gattuso contract I remember the uproar from that. We have split the season series between UVM and UNH. We would have against UMBC if the last second shot had gone in that is the top 3 in the AE. If I am Benson I see progress in a crazy year.
