Anyone have info on the “elbow” Rizzuto took to the face late in the game? Announcers said that the ref said if they review it and find no contact and Rizzuto was embellishing it he’d be called for a technical. So did Brown ask him if he got hit for real and Rizzuto told him no?

Wasnt sure itd show up on the replay angle, which it didnt. Wasnt worth the risk.

Better to have a $ienater now than in three games from now.  Knock some sense into them .  Can’t only blame Clark for that horrible drive, or Rizzuto for his 3 pointer, or Brown for the lack of timeout.  $ienaty effort all around.  What’s better, the 5th, 6th, or 7th seed in terms of Vermont?

Brown called for a time out 5 or 6 times. Noone heard.

Healy was on the team last season and Rizzuto committed during the season.

Having a lineup that looks like:

    • 1. Nichols / Clark
    • 2. Cremo / Healy / Rizzuto
    • 3. Baker / Campbell
    • 4. Lulka / Lauderdale
    • 5. McKinley / Hank

Would be a crazy lineup, and my top 25 comment was tongue in cheek and more a reference to Buffalo's success this year.  Who knows if that would have happened. There are other pieces we may have never gotten. Who knows if Clark would have come if Baker stayed. There would probably not be a Flory or a Miller or a Brooks. Might not have gotten French or Lauderdale. There is no point in really discussing it, but kind of fun to think about. Baker was a sad story, and McKinley looked like one of the most talented Big's we have had (at least what was seen in the P+G game, warm-ups, and the dunk contest that was on the UA TV show).

    Anyway, just interesting thoughts.

    Baker would have graduated

While some of you are bashing Clark for making some poor decisions and pushing, I want to ask this: have any of you seen someone hustle harder than him in recent years? From steals, to rebounds, pushing 100%?

From the eye test, he has been the spark plug of the team. I said it before: the team desperately needs someone else to step up and show his intensity.
