  1. I don't see Scott leaving unless it's the right head job for his family. This program is his life's work... He raised UAlbany Lacrosse to such prominence that it's a visibly national program... enough that we get negative fans when we're not a top 5 contender. It is truly amazing how much it developed under his guidance! Great fan base. Great recruiting area. His team enjoys playing for him and the University. Also, he loves the kids... Why leave!?
  2. The Dane's played hard but had too many turnovers and were out ground balled. The good news is that this is a young team that has potential! I'd like to see more players be offensive threats when they have the ball. There were too many opportunities to pull the trigger that we passed up. It's all about winning the conference! I have confidence that they'll learn from it and improve!
  3. Tehoka made tremendous contributions to UAlbany lacrosse as a major component in route to the final four. I still feel like this is an exciting team to watch. The games Tehoka missed, the attack played with great chemistry and showed a lot of youthful excitement. I'm excited to watch the rest of the season and wish Nanticoke the best of luck with his studies!
  4. It sounds like a lot of Mid-Major schools will experience the transfer portal as a way to move up the ladder. It would be a shame if kids start using schools like Albany as a Juco year.
  5. The extension would apply if the student-athlete withdraws from school until next spring. Ivy League schools require the students to finish school in 8 semesters and does not allow graduate students to participate in intercollegiate sports. TD would have to withdraw from Yale without graduating... I don't see that happening. It would be great to have him back in a Great Dane uniform, but wish him luck either way.
  6. TD cannot transfer to Cornell and play lacrosse. Cornell is an Ivy League school and will not grant a 5th year of eligibility.
  7. If TD Ierlan Graduates from Yale this Spring, by Ivy rule, he cannot play sports as a graduate student. I think this forum should lobby to recruit him back to Albany. He can have a Lebron moment and finish his career where it started... Like him or not, he was instrumental to the Danes run to the final four. He could make Albany a contender immediately! He can also finish what he started...
  8. Maybe TD can graduate from Yale and then come home to UAlbany for a Grad year. Wishful thinking!!
