  1. Good points, I was there as well. I also remember John Puk missing 2 or 3 layups to start the game,
  2. Let this be a game where Lon Kruger has to think. Don't get blown out in the first few minutes as we did when last in Columbus (quickly down to Virginia 20-2). Duke was a game, but never really a game - if necessary Plumlee could score as he pleased. Connecticut, Florida - those had fans involved (vs. Connecticut, the entire arena was yelling 'why not us'. Seeing Coaches Calhoun and Donovan on their knee drawing up plays - in the second half - to figure the Danes out: that's what we want to see this year.
  3. Has Siena bought a tournament for themselves this year?
  4. But also mentions that OU's most appearance was brief - losing to North Dakota State in the first round.
  5. McObvious. Maybe we got that out of our system in the SB game and we come out red hot. In our last NCAA appearance in Columbus, I think we fell behind 16-0 to Virginia if I remember correctly. That is the one thing we can not let happen - a quick smack down by OU. Keep it reasonably close and make them have to think about the game.
  6. University of Oklahoma - still reeling from racist fraternity songs. Maybe we catch them in a distracted moment.
  7. Very good thought and reminder. On my flight home out of Albany this morning I was fortunate enough to meet Coach Brown's parents. How lucky am I to be able to have attended that game? Still not sure what the hell even happened! That's awesome. I too got to spend some time with the Brown's yesterday at the Across the Street Pub. We were seated next to them in the back dining area and conversed with them for a good amount of time. Mr. and Mrs. Brown are so nice and Will had some fun joking with us. Such a cool experience to be with them shortly after such a big win. Very good thought and reminder. On my flight home out of Albany this morning I was fortunate enough to meet Coach Brown's parents. Such a cool experience to be with them shortly after such a big win. I came over the Across the Street Pub (first time since 1974) and talked to the Coach as well. I told him this: as I was leaving the SEFCU and mildly taunting SBU people - I just can't help myself- a guy said to me, "Let me know when you get to play Villanova". I suppose that was the best he had. So I said to him, "it's a deal, I'll call you from the NCAA Tournament."
  8. Yeah, cheapest flight I see is $500 not counting rental car and hotel. Sorry, gotta pass this up. I agree. I'm usually quick to make the trip, but it's really pricey. Not ruling it out. Let's all suck it up and do it!!!

  10. And - Siena OOC next year includes Vermont at Vermont. Go figure.
  11. I think it will be that kind of game. And I think UA is up for that.
  12. I believe in part that's why nothing is finalized yet, there are some differences of opinion of what this contract will look like. Are you saying that the new AD has committed to some sort of deal, but working out fair details are the only things missing? That's how we've been taking it, up the wing wang for a decade or so. Casa y casa...o nada! Agree
  13. Flying to Hartford and driving to Albany Friday
  14. Great win. I am coming up for next Saturday. Even have a winter coat. UA played a fine game. UNH could not keep the 3 pt shooting percentage the whole game that we saw early. If they could they deserved to win no looking back, enjoy the W and get ready for SB
  15. I am flying to CT for a meeting on Thursday March 12 and made my return flight home from Albany on Sunday morning, March 15. I did this to be at the final AE Tournament game. Lets go Danes
  16. Sad. Momentum late in the first half was palpable. Second half UA was out hustled and outplayed. Hope we look good on Friday in ESPNU, confident we will.
  17. This news places the usual back and forth on this board in perspective. I enjoy reading and occasionally contributing. I am thrilled to own and IPad and watch Albany games in HD from 1500 miles away. Real life is sadly visits from time to time. To Peter and his family - your mother will live forever in your hearts and memories. The pain you feel today eases gradually over time, it always does. My prayers are with you from across the world.
  18. How much would it cost to sanitize the visiting locker room if they come to SEFCU?
  19. Could not agree more. As someone who circles the date of this game every year and either flies in or watches (paying Siena for the feed) - I've finally had it. Make it equitable or forget about them.
