  1. Turbo! Congrats to both the men and ladies. Great Indoor year. http://tfrrs.org/lists/502.html Luke Schoen Ranked 20th in the Vault and Nasim Sideeq ranked 31st in the Triple Jump.

  3. thats just awesome! Its gotta be like Christmas for Tullock, loooong overdue.
  4. I can't speak for all but 'most' UPD officers ARE in fact pricks, its a prerequisite for the job. If I were a judge I would smack these officers for wasting my time as these charges are going to be thrown out at 10x the speed of an Obama first pitch. This to me is the equivalent of someone getting arrested for jaywalking during a parade. This won't effect the season one bit, it'll just make for some clever signage by opposing fans.
  5. UA's Joe Greene will be competing in the 400 Hurdles in the Rome, Italy Golden League Meet today. Race goes off at 4:30 p.m. EST. Results can be found at: http://www.iaaf.org/gle09/results/eventcode=4187/index.html Go Danes!
  6. I watched Ricardo's race live (http://all-access.cbssports.com/player.html?code=ncaa&media=129515) and it was exciting to see him slowly move up in a race that was clearly more stacked. He ran solo the majority of the way. Great Job Danes!
  7. Any word on what happened to Moore in the 1500? just didn't have it. mentally lost it mid race i'm told.
  8. Albany should have 6 student-athletes going to NCAAs. Joe Green and Ricardo Estremera auto-qualified. Alie Beauvais is GUARANTEED to go as his time is 6th in the nation and he was beaten by 3 of the better 5 at Regionals, meaning at most he would be the 3rd at-large bid of 4 to get in. (but he's actually #1). Luke Schoen should also just squeak in. And surprisingly enough, their 4x4 may actually make the field depending on how many they elect to participate. Their time places them 17th in the NCAAs, the field size last year was 18, and two teams ranked ahead of them in the NCAAs did not finish in the top 10 at Regionals leaving them out of the running. It is not out of the question for Albany to finish in the top 10-15 at NCAAs.
  9. Wilfredo de Jesus is back in Puerto Rico and Freddie is also injured. Neither of them were a legitimate threat to go top 5 at regionals though. If I were a betting man I'd say with the squad they have now, Top 15 at NCAA's is definitely attainable. In 2007 with just 2 athletes scoring Albany finished 41st. Last year 50th with just 1 man scoring. This year they could potentially score 5, maybe 6 athletes.
  10. Men repeat as IC4A champions. Men - Team Rankings - 22 Events Scored =============================================================================== 1) University at Albany 68 2) Liberty University 56 3) Rutgers University 55 4) Manhattan College 51 5) Cornell University 36 6) Georgetown University 35 7) Hampton University 31 8) Syracuse University 30 8) College of William & Mary 30 10) Duke University 27 Strong performances by: Mike McCadney - 2nd place in the Triple Jump Joe Greene, Alie Beauvais - 1st & 2nd in the 400 Hurdles. (both times are top 5 in the USA) 49.72, 49.99 4x400 - 2nd place 4x800 - 1st place should have a strong contingent going to Regionals in 2 weeks.
  11. he's a new age miler. 47 400 foot speed, 1.48 800 strength. He will be the first Dane to dip under 4 for the mile.
