  1. I have a feeling the $ is one reason there is never a Siena/Albany game at SEFCU! Has UAlbany ever offered your facility? I think they prefer a portion of the gate downtown instead so, let's resist making Siena a villain here.
  2. I'm not here to bash UAlbany and there is no good reason to abolish the game. Most seasons the margin of victory has been close. Comments on the Siena board do suggest we are doing you a favor by scheduling the game and that is unfortunate proving, the "Big Hoops Wannabee's" are on a roll. Your program is on the downward swing of the cycle and most fans understand what the means. B'way...Siena never had any opportunity to go A10. I do not think so.
  3. Sauers and Jamar would have to be on the team if it is to be taken seriously. But the request for the team is by the Siena beat writer (not a sports editor) so that ought to tell you something about the what that $iena paper is looking for and how much we should pay attention to it. I will give it the zero credibility it deserves. It's really easy to issue zero credibility when you realistically have a near zero chance of placing a kid on the team. Well apparently your math is off.....we have a 20% chance of putting a kid on the team and a head coach. Man that must chap yo

  6. You must have missed quite a few posts on the lcc board over the years and all of the UA-LCC basketball games. Actually, not missing anything and you are correct. There is no shortage of "Big Hoops Wannabees" in the Siena Community. Your board and Siena's represent a small number of people with too much idle time now and then. I know tons of Siena fans that would put the conference games back on campus and play OOC games of interest downtown. My 1st choice would be to play UAlbany on campus, come to your house every other year and televise. Perhaps downtown most fair to the masses a
  7. Siena fans/alum's/administration don't have any vision of 'growing the program" My expectations mirror most fans....be a top 4 program in the MAAC, graduate the kids within 5 years, make the post season now and then. It's your "big hoops wannabee posture" that amuses. Are you actually waiting for Siena fans to drop dead so your program can catch up? One just passed on last week so maybe come November you can stay within 25 points.
  8. So now you claim that Siena fans care more about beating Albany than they do of making the ncaa's. (at least according to your numbers) Talk about obsession. And you have yet to figure out that we enjoy mocking Siena's crappy home because some of you clowns think you are a major team. But don't confuse that with caring. Caring would mean that we have a problem with lcc play in the morgue in front of garbage bags and dead people and would want to make it better. Certainly not the case for me. It is fitting that a garbage team like Siena in a garbage league like the maac plays in front of ga

  10. You must have a $iena degree or something similarly worthless. $iena's avg attendance is around 6K at best, 6-7 thousand more fannies in the seats only when UA plays at the TUC and none of those fannies belong to UA. A Rocket Scientist you're not. Ummmm, ya all don't care while still fascinated with the fact Siena does not fill the place but, easily doubles/triples your attendance on any given night. And when you play us maybe another 4 thousand show up but few of them are Albany fans! The additional draw is generally coming to see you lose. Considering the size of the UNIVERSITY,
  11. You should be able to fill your arena, never? When you play your home games in front of thousands of bagged seats, I would expect some humility, if not embarrassment. When the Stanford game was announced, some came to this board and predicted 12,000+. When the day came I don't think any seats had to be de-bagged. The bags only come off when the Danes go downtown. If you sandwich a Siena game between a Bruce Springsteen concert and a Barack Obama rally, MAYBE you'll sell out a game. The only game they planned to "DEBAG" was USmallbany with the irony being, you don't send an
  12. Yeh! You should be able to fill that 4k arena at least once.
  13. Siena beats Albany at least 80% of the time regardless of where the ball gets tossed. Trust me, that's no measuring stick.
  14. Rosa Parks? You're killing me. The players parents? That's supposed to be an issue here? You requested the game and grabbed the contract . And now you've gotten onto a good thing and simply want more. Sort of like raising taxes or playing Robin Hood. Got anymore touchy feely nonsense. Relax, I'm gone now.
