Sean Gleason, MLAX 2016-2019, Where is he now.....

Recommended Posts

Another great update on one of our MLAX players, doing good work in our communities, from Grayed_Dane_NIL:

Sean Gleason (2016-19) - defenseman out of Massapequa Long Island New York.

One of that eras four horsemen of the apocalypse (Gleason, Eccles, Perla, Burgmaster). Defensive captain his senior year, Sean was one of those dawgs…a grinder.

So it’s no surprise that he went on to pursue a career in law enforcement with the NYPD. This weekend, Sean will be suiting up for team NYPD in the 29th annual Battle of the Badges (September 7th at 2:00 - Hofstra University)which is being hosted by the PLL.

The exhibition game features active-duty personnel from the NYPD and FDNY lacrosse teams who will compete in honor of first responders and their families ahead of the anniversary of the tragic events on September 11, 2001.

The NYPD Lacrosse team was started and run by Ronald Kloepfer and Joseph Vigiano. Both tragically lost their lives on 9/11/2001.

Tickets for the Battle of the Badges and the 2024 PLL Cash App Playoffs Semifinals are available at https://premierlacrosseleague.com/semifinals, with free tickets available for first responders. Each ticket grants admission to the Battle of the Badges game, and both PLL Semifinal matchups.
