Getting blown out by a 1-5 team at home during homecoming 😂🤣😂. Classic Gattuso. I'm not watching but checked the score and looked like I haven't missed anything. I had already cancelled my Flo membership like 3 weeks ago. 

How many more years of Gattuso will we have to suffer through?

This might be the nail in the coffin for me as far as caring about UA FB until they fire this loser and his entire staff.

It's a supremely poorly coached team, it's a poorly constructed team, and I am sick of anyone making excuses for the portal.  EVERY TEAM HAD THE SAME ISSUE.  What we had in our favor: A SEMIFINAL APPEARANCE.  We should have attracted better.  

What I want to know at this point- what is stopping us from recruiting TOP TIER TALENT...not ready to go three years from now talent...but drop down (FBS / lateral FCS) talent.  Is it the lockeroom (it's a piece of $iena)?  If it is, then that is on Benson to fix.

Is it NIL money?  Then that is on Benson to fix.

Is it the inability of the staff to recognize that the days of recruiting undervalued or over looked players as the majority of your recruiting class (there is always room for some, and should be) are basically over with the portal?!  (This is something Will Brown was ahead of the curve on from a recruiting perspective in hoops)?

I am truly not sure.  But I know 11 years in it must be fixed.  Stony Brook turned it around in one season (though it is not over, they are on the path to a playoff spot).  

Honest to god, Reese, Eason, and Hicks saved this offense last year...and the defense spoke for itself.

We are down 20, at home, on homecoming to the last place team.  And #4 is celebrating a play so much that we get a penalty.  WTF IS WRONG WITH THIS STAFF.  it is not just that play, it's been like this all year with celebrations.  Enough of the bull$iena: COACH...and coaching is letting them have fun but installing discipline.  It's been a season of stupid penalties and untimely celebrations.

Burkett is TRULY bad.  He doesn't set his feet, throws from the most ridiculous arm angles in situations where it is not needed, and is wildly inaccurate.  If Trey Lindsay isn't better than Burkett, then this is on the staff.  

The frosh kid looks like he has talent.  If I am our staff, I am recruiting another kid and making it a three way competition next year.  

Less than 56% completion rate, 8 TDs, 5 INTs, 7.3 per completion average, and under 200 yards a game.  A joke at this level.

Not to mention this team cannot run the ball one iota this year. Huge step back pretty much everywhere. have to be on the bottom half of FCS. Unacceptable 6 months removed from the semifinals

Stony Brook was winless last year.  Any decent players left, any studs in the portal wouldn't want to touch that program, and they fire Priore to start a long rebuild.  They are now 5-2.  UA goes to a national semifinal, did lose a few guys looking to cash in on the success, but bring in some solid guys looking to play for a national contender, and we have an experienced(but inconsistent) coach, and we regress to this point.  Mind boggling.

To make matters worse, I don’t think the CAA is very good this year.  Deserves 2…maybe 3 teams in playoffs.

Just finished watching the replat of the game without knowing the results.  What a terrible effort all around.  Burkett did not look good but he was running for his life all game.  Why does he try to make these weird arm angle throws?  He's not Mahomes. The offensive line played a terrible game.  Couldn't run block, couldn't pass block.Elon was blitzing a lot and it looked like UA didn't even consider it. Let guys run free at Burkett and didn't even try to call plays to combat it.  Screen?  Hot route somewhere? 

Two kickoff returns for TDs.  The terrible penalties at terrible times. Just bad.  Gattuso and staff were completely outcoached today and the players outplayed by a 1-5 team. I'm with Dane96, FloSports is cancelled.

I have no words for how bad are offense is playing and special teams were a disaster......................nothing else. Just disheartening!

What’s remarkable is that we’re bad in every phase of the game.  We can’t stop the run or pass, we don’t tackle well.  We can’t run block or pass block.  We can’t consistently make passes, our throws in the red zone all seem to be 50/50 balls.  On special teams, we missed makeable field goals in the last couple of games and can’t defend kickoffs.

At some point, the coaches will talk about injuries - 2 starting offensive linemen, a starting linebacker, starting safety…. But that doesn’t excuse the overall bad play. 

Do we have any bright spots?  What’s there to build on?  We might get another couple of wins this year but I think we’re looking at a total rebuild.  Let’s get to the last four games of the season - so they don’t burn a redshirt - and let’s see what Webber can do at quarterback, give Zakar Morris some reps at defensive line
