Hope we lose to put another nail in Gattuso's coffin. Ending on a 6 game losing streak has to be helpful in getting him removed.

A sad day, when we do not wish our players and coaches success.

I understand how you feel, the time to deal with Coach Gattuso will come at the completion of the season and only if Mark Benson decides that a change is needed.

At the moment, MSOC and WSOC are leading candidates for a coaching change.

My thought process is that if he wins 1 or 2 games and gets closer to 500 then it will just perpetuate the mediocrity cause you know Benson loves mediocrity. For the sake of the program, we need him to lose as much possible to expedite his removal. 

As far as players, in the portal era they are no longer student athletes who want to be around for 5 years (red shirt). They are mercenaries who jump ship on a yearly or bi-annual basis. 

This is now a semi-pro sport. My only allegiance is to the alma mater/program, not any specific player or coach.

I strongly believe Mark Benson and Vic Cegles have ongoing discussions and have outline reasons to terminate and the reasons to keep Greg Guttuso.  Further, I am of the opinion that Greg is much less animated on the sidelines, perhaps the inability to retain talent and the constant need to recruit has worn him down.

Greg may make it easy on all of us.

Another thought, players win games, coaches lose games.

I can't see ever rooting for the seaclowns in any sport unless they are playing the lcc Indians. That said, I won't be at this game.

Also, for what it’s worth, the CAA made a massive mistake going to FloSports. It reduces exposure, increases costs to fans and has poorer streaming. For the most recent available stats, ESPN + has 25 million subscribers…..Flo has 1 million. Players like eyes on them when they play and I firmly believe it hurts recruiting.

I lost interest in this year's team right after we limped through a win in opening week. I could tell from the stands that this wasnt anything like last year's team. Haven't been to another game or even watched one. At least in past years we could hang our hats on at least keeping all the losses close. This year has been pathetic. That's me, with purple and gold glasses, typing pathetic on this board twice in under 24 hours. 

GG has to go, but I'm seriously sad that we have people on this board rooting for SBU.

I am not rooting 'for SBU'...I am just rooting 'for Gattuso to get fired'. There IS a difference, however small it may be. If that means losing to SBU, so be it.
